Valeed Ahmed

Digital Media Coordinator

Valeed has been part of the National Association of Muslim Police executive board since January 2021. He has also helped to establish the Derbyshire Association of Muslim Police network within Derbyshire Constabulary, currently taking on the role of Chair along with his Vice-Chair Iram.


During working towards establishing Derbyshire AMP, Valeed took on the Executive Coordinator role within NAMP. His responsibilities include looking after the social media, website, and communication between both the National and local Force Associations of Muslim Police.


Valeed is continually striving to work on numerous projects locally and nationally to bring improvements for Muslim staff and has strived to be a role model for his colleagues to improve retention and progression. Valeed has coached and mentored numerous staff within the organisation at various levels.


During his 17 years within the world of Policing, Valeed has had a very rewarding and exciting career which has led him to his current role as Digital Forensics and Forensic Imaging Manager role for EMSOU (East Midlands Forensic Services) which is one of the UK’S largest regional force collaborations delivering specialist services.


Valeed has a day named after him over in EMSOU, called the ‘V-Day’ – a cheat day with lots of cakes and brownies!
