The National Association of Muslim Police (NAMP) is a representative body for Muslims working within policing. 

The purpose of NAMP is to:
 

  • To provide support to local Muslim Police Networks.

​

  • Improve recruitment, retention and progression of Muslim Officers and Staff.

​

  • Address disproportionality within misconduct and grievance procedures.

​

  • Promote learning and development of its members.

​

  • Support the religious and welfare needs of Muslim colleagues.

​

  • Promote understanding and awareness of Islam.

​

  • Influence the direction of national policies in the Police Service.

​

  • Promote community cohesion and enhance the safety of our communities.

​

  • Create a network of key stakeholders and professional Muslims.
