Omar Haque

Corporate Liaison Officer

Omar’s main duties involve building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships, facilitating communications, and coordinating activities amongst internal and external contacts within the National Association of Muslim Police.


Undertaking his role as Corporate Liaison Officer, means Omar is the point of contact for the organisation as well the primary person who communicates information about NAMP to other stakeholders.


Omar seeks to build relationships among corporate sectors of the community. Alongside helping with coordination of multiagency establishment, being our liaison officer means working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Omar is known for his engaging attitude and is passionate about developing and fostering relationships with stakeholders on national level.


Further to his dedication as Corporate Liaison Officer, Omar has worked in Policing for over 15 years and the last five years within Counter Terrorism at the City of London Police.


In his spare time, Omar is dedicated to charitable causes. He is the founder of the iHope charity, who seek to provide basic human necessities such as food and water to countries such as Pakistan and Gambia.
